As a non-profit geared towards LGBTQ youth in Montréal, Quebec, Canada, Head & Hands has been accessing Kilowatt Creative’s services since 2013, when our owner capped off her graphic design education as an intern in their office. From that time, the non-profit has requested a number of branding materials with the most important being the design of their annual reports. To reflect the uniqueness of the organization itself, the reports needed to move beyond the letter sized booklet format and instead showcase the edginess reminiscent of the quality of their services. In lieu of this, reports are full of photos and include a non-traditional brochure format and customs illustrations. Below are the custom illustrative icons created for their 2019/2020.
